A De Havilland Tiger Moth flying lesson gives you the chance to step back in time and experience the joy of flight as it was at the turn of the 20th century. With this experience you will actually take control of the aircraft whilst under the guidance of a highly experienced flying instructor.
A flying lesson in a Tiger Moth is among life's most incredible experiences. On the day of your flight you will be fitted out with vintage flying gear, including a leather jacket, helmet, goggles and a scarf, before climbing aboard our fully restored de Havilland Tiger Moth for a flight of a lifetime. Your Flight Instructor will also take the time to discuss with you the basic principles of flight, and how to control the plane when in the air. Once airborne, your instructor will invite you to take control of the aircraft yourself and experience the thrill of soaring through the skies in an open cockpit biplane. Your friends and family will have plenty of time to take your photo and join in the experience. While they may not see all of the flight, they will be able to see you get strapped in before waving you goodbye, and watching you take off and land in the Tiger Moth.
