Experience all the thrills and spills of piloting a helicopter during this 30 minute flying lesson. After a comprehensive pre-flight briefing and inspection of the R44 helicopter, get a feel for the controls and take to the skies, admiring views of Canberra city, the Brindabella Mountains and more.
Ever thought flying a helicopter was an unattainable dream? Well you can now make your dreams come true with this exhilarating learn to fly experience over the Canberra region. Sit in on a comprehensive pre-flight briefing which covers safety and the effects of the controls, before conducting a pre-flight inspection of the R44 helicopter. Feel your excitement build as you strap into the helicopter, hear the engine roar to life and take to the skies with your instructor by your side. Whilst receiving constant expert tuition, admire views of Canberra city, Lake Burley Griffin, the Murrumbidgee and Molonglo River valleys, Ginninderra Falls and the Brindabella Mountains. Once back on ground, you'll be run through a post-flight briefing and given a flight certificate.
Please allow two hours for this experience, including pre and post-flight briefings, the helicopter inspection and the 30 minute lesson.
