Join an expert team and be guided through an amazing in-water swim interaction with Short Beaked Common Dolphins in the pristine waters of Port Stephens. You will be immersed in the breathtaking world of bow-surfing wild dolphins and gently pulled through the water amid their pod.
This is the first licensed wild dolphin encounter in NSW. The vessel is licensed by the Marine Park Authority to operate in the Port Stephens Marine park and swim with the Short Beaked Common Dolphin. There are always trained marine biologists onboard who are conducting a long term population and ID study. You can join the team for a day and learn a lot about the marine park and the dolphins.
The curious dolphins swim back and forth between the bows, whistling and clicking, clearly fascinated by the humans swimming with them. After a thrilling morning swimming with wild dolphins and sailing the high seas, you will then enjoy a light breakfast whist cruising back to picturesque D’Albora Marina.
This cruise runs with a maximum of 40 people (20 swimmers and 20 observers)
