Climb aboard for an unforgettable swim with wild dolphins in their natural environment. Enjoy a three hour eco cruise, and jump into the beautiful Koombana Bay waters and wait for wild dolphins to come and play!
Learn about the Bottlenose Dolphins. Explore and visually immerse yourself in our local marine environment. As an Advanced Eco Tourism attraction we do not have captive dolphins on display but together we will explore the wild dolphins of Koombana Bay to provide a window into their natural behaviors.
Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment. Please also note that this experience runs from November - April.
PLEASE NOTE: Swim Tours are not available from 29th April 2018 - 31th October 2018.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
Minimum number of 4 participants, and maximum of 20.
Spectators can pay to come on the cruise and watch the swim. The costs are $85 for adults, and $65 for children and concession card holders.
This experience will still go ahead in the event of rain or inclement weather. If the experience provider does have to cancel the tour due to poor or dangerous weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.
Please bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. You can bring your own snorkelling gear or wetsuit if you would prefer.
Please note, the dolphins of Koombana Bay are wild animals. In the event you do not get to see the dolphins, you can participate in another dolphin encounter cruise free of charge within 12 months of your booking.
