This flight is designed as an introduction to the world of aerobatics, so you can experience the true agility of this legendary aircraft. The Yak-52 is globally known to be able to do it all, from extreme competition aerobatics to straight and level cross country flying. The mission will see you depart from Archerfield airport and head west toward the Brisbane's RAAF airspace. Flying around the Flinders Peak area you will then move to some classic fighter manoeuvres - combat aileron rolls, barrel rolls, loops and inverted flying.

This aerobatic section of the flight is optional and can be substituted for some glorious straight and level flying to take in the scenic views. Following a full de-brief there will be an opportunity to take more photos, discuss the flight with your pilot and ask any questions you might have.

Session Length

Please allow 60 minutes for safety briefing and cockpit preparation. Flight time approximately 25 minutes.


Minimum age for this experience is 14 years old. The minimum weight is 36kg and maximum weight is 136kg. The maximum height is 201cm. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women


For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. If you have any questions as to your fitness for this experience, you should consult your doctor.


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • 48 hours notice is required for cancellation, otherwise a 25% rescheduling fee may apply


Spectators are welcome to watch from the hangar.


In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If your experience in cancelled you will be rescheduled by the provider.

Dress Code

Closed shoes are required. The experience provider will supply a flight suit and helmet.

This experience takes place at Archerfield Airport. The flight will take you to North Stradbroke Island.
