Feel your adrenaline pumping with this once in a lifetime combat flight against a friend. You will both be in separate aircraft so you can battle it out in the skies above Melbourne and feel what is is like to be a fighter pilot! Full pre-flight and post-flight briefings are included with a professional pilot for a unique and customised experience.

Depart Moorabbin Airport in formation, flying wingtip to wingtip as you roar skywards in a genuine ex-military fighter trainers. Feel the rush as you close in to take the shot high above Port Phillip Bay. Watch smoke plume out of the enemy aircraft as you score a hit! This experience is fully interactive so hold on tight. As a participant, you will form part of the crew as you scan the skies for the enemy and ensure there is no bogey on your tail or hun in the sun. When the time comes to bug out you'll be reforming and returning to base in friendly formation.

This is a unique, high octane aerial adventure not for the faint hearted!

Session Length

Allow 1.5 hours for entire experience including briefings, dressing up in combat gear and strapping into aircraft
Experience is available on selected weekends only, please check the availibility calender
Time in the aircraft is 30 minutes, with 20 minutes in the sky
Please arrive 15mins earlier for your booking

Guidelines

People who suffer from heart conditions should consult with their doctor before booking
Those easily susceptible to motion sickness are encouraged to try a single adventure flight first to acclimatise
Maximum height is 193cm
Maximum weight is 130kg
No plaster casts
No hard or sharp objects can be carried in the aircraft
Please arrive 15mins earlier for your booking

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 150 and 132.155;

(i) the design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
(ii) the aircraft is not required by CASA to be operated to the same safety standards as an aircraft used for air transport operations; and
(iii) travel in the aircraft is done at the passenger's own risk; and
(iv) a more detailed briefing about the safety of the aircraft will be given to the passenger before the passenger boards the aircraft;
(v) passengers who cannot understand safety briefing to be accompanied on adventure flights

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider

Passenger terminal (grey building) 66 Bundora parade, Moorabbin Airport near the control tower and after 11am please go to the Flight Deck Bar and Grill at 37 First Avenue, Moorabbin Airport.

Amazing bucket list experience, the preflight chat with my instructor/Pilot Tom was informative and accurate. There was nothing unexpected during the aerobatic maneuvers over the wonderful sights of Port Phillip Bay.

What a fantastic experience! I’ve flown in lots of different ways - hot air balloons, gliders, helicopters, opened cockpit biplanes and seaplanes….but this surpassed the lot for sheer adrenaline fun. Jack the pilot was so engaging, informative and converted the sense that he loved his job and took pleasure in giving his customers a great experience. Can’t speak highly enough of the day.

What an amazing, adrenaline rush. I could not have been more thrilled with my flight and will never forget the excitement as we roared straight up to the heavens, then reversed the action so all we could see was the ground rushing towards us. Outstanding. Do it!!!

The team at Warbird adventures were great, they ran the session professionally, ensured everything was covered but still made sure it was all about the expereience and having fun. We both throughly enjoyed ourselves, and my son who had never been up in a plane like this definitely wanted to do it again
