★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended A Unforgettable Flight in a Warbird! Amy 6 December 2024 [Employee of redballoon] I recently went on the Warbird flight in the Boeing Stearman, and it was absolutely incredible! I was a bit nervous beforehand and chose to skip the aerobatics and not go upside down, but honestly, I’m now thinking I should have gone for it! Even without the flips, it was such an amazing experience. We left from Camden and flew out towards the coast, down south from Bulli and over the beaches north of Wollongong. The views were just stunning! Being up in the open cockpit was so peaceful—soaring through the sky with the wind rushing past was an experience like no other. My pilot was amazing (and a female—how cool is that?)! She made me feel completely safe the whole time and even let me take the controls for part of the flight. Flying us back while following the Nepean river was such a surreal and unforgettable moment. Plus, I got to wear the iconic Warbird outfit, which made me feel like I’d stepped right into aviation history! Definitely an experience I will never forget!
