One of the pitfalls of the modern diet is that the food we eat is often high in fat. We know that a high-fat diet can not only lead to weight gain, but also increases the risk of disease, and an unhealthy lifestyle. Understand the food you eat and learn critical healthy cooking skills today.
In this interactive cooking class, you will learn about the different types of fat and how much your body actually needs to stay healthy. You will also take a look at the controversial trans fat in many foods and how it is absorbed into your body. You will discover how to cook nutritionally balanced meals that will be satisfying on your appetite and have you feeling fuller for longer. All recipes have been developed by a professional team of nutritionists.
Using only fresh, locally grown produce, the recipes you will cook are seasonal and dependant on which ingredients are readily available at market. This guarantees that the food cooked is not only fresh, delicious and nutritionally sound but also budget friendly. All recipes are nutritionally analysed and priced so you know exactly what goodness you are feeding your body and how much it will cost. Some of the seasonal recipes you may cook include vietnamese chicken salad with sesame and lime dressing, mushroom and broccoli pizza with bocconcini kale, beetroot coleslaw with lime mayonnaise, and a variety of healthy salad dressings for all occasions.
