For the aspiring baristas or coffee aficionados; this Barista Level 1 course covers the techniques and skills required to make amazing coffee at home or in a cafe! This half day course coffee making course will teach you how to operate an espresso machine and texture/pour milk. Very hands on!
For those who want to work as a barista or up their coffee making skills for home; this Level 1 Barista Course is just the ticket! Taught by experienced baristas, the hands on class will teach you techniques for making espresso based coffees as well how to texture milk and pour it correctly. You'll learn about the different types of coffee, taste profiles and decaffeinating process as well as how to clean and care for your coffee machine.
You'll also get a whole lot of bonuses; you'll receive copies of Grind It Interactive (a barista manual) a customisable resume template from Coreena Cole Design and Get That Job Barista Job Hunting Guide. Participants will also learn basic hygienic practices and food safety, so you’ll leave with everything you need to know when it comes to working with coffee, or even opening up your own cafe!
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion on the day of the class. Participants have the option of registering this training course with the Department of Education and receiving a statement of attainment for an additional $60.
