This fishing tour will take you out to the Cairns Estuary System; a beautiful ecosystem that is part of the State Marine Park, it is an amazing fishing spot. With a whole range of different underwater landscapes including holes, mudflats, snags and drop-offs you are sure to see, and hopefully catch a whole variety of fish. With everything supplied including rods & reels, tackle, bait (dead and/or live) and light refreshments; all you need to bring along is a positive attitude; your camera, a wide brim hat and a few beers are Okay (cans please)! Your experienced guide will ensure you get the most out of your experience and will help you with your fishing technique, whether you're an avid angler or you're a fishing rookie. Common estuary fish species included but not limited to...Grunter (javelin fish), Fingermark, Blue Theadfin, King Theadfin, Queen fish, Trevally, Mangrove jack, Estuary cod, Bream, Flathead, Hairtail Tarpon, Mud crab and the prize catch....Barramundi

Raincoats supplied if raining and there a canopy that covers 3/4 of the boat for sun protection

    Cancellation

    Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

    Rescheduling

    • Over 2 weeks prior to the experience date: No charge
    • 48 hours to up to 2 weeks prior to the experience date: $50 per person participant fee to change the experience date and time
    • Within 48 hours of the experience date, No Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
    • Change of participant is not permitted

    The vessel has a full length canopy to help with protection from the sun and rain, so the tour can run in wet weather

    Dress Code

    Please wear a wide brim hat, a long sleeved cotton shirt and bring along sun glasses, your camera and a few beers are Okay.

    To help us with Safe Work Practices we are introducing the following- • We ask all our customers to wash hands prior to boarding and we will provide hand sanitizer and/or the use of a bucket of water and soap for all to use. • The vessel will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each charter. • We have downloaded the COVID Safe app and we recommend our customers do the same. • We ask everyone to respect each other’s space/social distancing-let common sense prevail. • These procedures are subject to change as per necessary. And lastly, just come along and have fun!
