Experience the amazing beauty of the Cairns estuary system and reel in an awesome catch with this half day fishing tour. Your experienced guide will help you refine your angling technique and with everything provided including rods and tackle, all you need to bring along is a good attitude!
This fishing tour will take you out to the Cairns Estuary System; a beautiful ecosystem that is part of the State Marine Park, it is an amazing fishing spot. With a whole range of different underwater landscapes including holes, mudflats, snags and drop-offs you are sure to see, and hopefully catch a whole variety of fish. With everything supplied including rods and reels, tackle, bait (dead and/or live) and light refreshments, all you need to bring along is a positive attitude, your camera, a wide brim hat and a few beers too (cans please)! Your experienced guide will ensure you get the most out of your adventure and will help you with your fishing technique, whether you're an avid angler or you're a fishing rookie. Common estuary fish species included but not limited to; grunter (javelin fish), fingermark, blue theadfin, king theadfin, queen fish, trevally, mangrove jack, estuary cod, bream, flathead, hairtail tarpon, mud crab and the prize catch, barramundi.
Raincoats are supplied if it's raining and there is a canopy that covers 3/4 of the boat for sun protection.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

The vessel has a full length canopy to help with protection from the sun and rain, so the tour can run in wet weather.
Please wear a wide brim hat, a long sleeved cotton shirt and bring along sunglasses.
