Set off into the deep blue for an epic Six hour fishing adventure! The waters around the islands of Fleurieu or York Peninsula and Kangaroo Island are teeming with all kinds of fish and make for a lucrative fishing trip. You can either board the charter from Wirrina Cove or Cape Jervis Boat Ramp, depending on your catch preference. Hop on at Wirrina Cove if you like to chase squid, or Cape Jervis for bigger fish like snapper, nanigai, kingfish, tuna (Dec-March) and shark, and a host of smaller species like leather jackets, whiting, snook, mackerel, sweep and trevally. All fishing gear, bait and tackle are provided so you just need to cast your line and wait for that elusive tug. By the end of the trip, you'll have an esky full of impressive catches to cook up for later.

Guidelines

Minimum age is five years. Children aged 5-12 years are expected to bring their own life jackets as only adult ones are provided
If you frequently get seasick, it is recommended you take seasickness tablets

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience Late arrivals without contact over 15mins or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Charters do not proceed when it's over 10knots for more than three consecutive hours, however you can often fish different parts of the gulf to avoid getting sick from getting pushed around by the waves and wind.

Dress Code

Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather as well as a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Enclosed footwear is essential.

poor communication & false advertising

booked this for my husband as a christmas present, there was no communication, had to find the correct number from another site. only to be told they couldn't acutally accomodate us on the day we were booked in for as they had taken a fullday booking!

Great day fishing

Quite windy but Dan found some calmer spots , he talked some fish into taking he bait ,then found squid further along the beautiful coast out from Cape Jervis.

Dan is the man!. Fun day out.

Unfortunately the weather has not played this summer and the fish were just not on even when we found massive schools of bait fish. But Dan tried everything, he was really great with my 7 year old son and a good laugh. It was a good day either way.

A fantastic experience

Dan was a very experienced boat captain and assisted us to have an amazing day. Our preference was to try to catch tuna, so he expertly navigated us to where the tuna had been biting. Sadly, the tuna were not up for a bit of sport, so we taken to another spot for some successful fishing. Dan was well prepared, helpful and professional. He made the day very enjoyable we can't wait to book again.
