Head out on a half-day fishing charter on the pristine waters of Broome. Perfect for a family with smaller children, or those who donâ€™t want to be out on the water all day, this half-day tour is designed for you! After being picked up from your accommodation around 7 a.m., youâ€™ll be transferred to your departure point for the day, Gantheume Beach or Entrance Point. Next, hop onboard the amphibious tender which will transfer you to the 65ft fishing vessel, â€˜Contessa Câ€™, ideal for a comfortable time out on the water. Heading out anywhere between 10 to 20 nautical miles offshore, youâ€™ll be able to fish in several different areas throughout the day. With all the gear included, all you have to do is have loads of fun and immerse yourself in this incredible fishing experience.

Some of the species you may see include Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Black Snapper, Crimson Snapper, Saddletail Seaperch, Golden Snapper, Rankin Cod, Giant Trevally and Golden Trevally. You will also spend some time trolling lures for Tuna and Spanish Mackerel. The crew will clean your catch and pack it straight on ice to give you the best quality fish to take home. All undersized or unwanted fish are immediately returned to the water to increase survival rates and promote the sustainability of fisheries.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Contessa C fishes 12 lines at a time, but can take up to 25 passengers for group bookings.

Spectators

All guests on board must be paying guests, whether they want to participate in fishing or not.

Weather

This tour is very rarely rescheduled due to imminent weather. If the weather impacts the experience of the guests, then the tour will be rescheduled. In the event that the guest cannot make the rescheduled time, a full refund is offered.

Dress Code

Please bring along a camera, hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes are not mandatory, BYO alcohol if you wish (esky and ice are provided for your drinks) and seasick medication if required.

Bloody excellent

Great day. I'm not a fisherman but caught a Spanish Mackerel and a couple of Emporer. Crew were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Came home with a big bag of filleted fish. Very happy. Good value.
