This full day tour from Melbourne packs in all the must-see sights of Phillip Island and the Peninsula. Explore iconic coastlines, breathtaking peninsula views and the famous beach bathing boxes, and meet native Australian wildlife all whilst travelling in a luxury Mercedes.
Meeting in Melbourne city centre, your group of no more than 11 people will be whisked away to the Mornington Peninsula for a full day of exploring. The first stop is the iconic Brighton Beach; make sure to have your camera ready to capture the gorgeous rows of multicoloured bathing huts that line the Port Phillip Bay Peninsula. From here you'll continue on to Phillip Island and visit a local wildlife park that is home to more than 60 native Australian animal species. Enjoy an exciting animal encounter and have the opportunity to hand feed kangaroos, wallabies, emus and wombats.
In the seaside township of Cowes, you will refuel with a delicious dinner by the foreshore and take a short stroll along the esplanade. Please note during the winter months (Apr-Sep) passengers will instead receive lunch. Soak in the scenery as you cruise to the western point of the Phillip Island known as the Nobbies, a showcase of stunning coastlines and wildlife. Search for little penguins who stayed home in their burrows - this is your only penguin photo opportunity as photography is not allowed at the Penguin Parade. The final stop on this tour is the Phillip Island Penguin Centre, where you can sit and watch thousands of tiny penguins climb ashore and cross the the beach to spend the night in the dunes. Afterwards, your driver will drop you back to Melbourne and leave you with priceless photos, memories and maybe even a little sand in your shoes!
