During your guided snorkel tour our professional marine biologist will guide you on a 30-minute underwater tour, showcasing the reef and its unique marine life. You will see and learn about the world’s largest bi-valve (the giant clam), the clown fish with their host the anemone coral, and the giant blue starfish. You’ll also learn a myriad of other facts about this amazing coral and marine life. You will only ever see these unique underwater environments on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef! Check-in from 8.30am for a 9.30am (sharp) departure. We arrive back to Cairns at the normal time of 5:30pm.
The price quoted is for one person. There will be other people on the cruise with you.
This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of rough water conditions we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date.
Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. You will need to bring your hat, towel, swimmers and sunscreen. All snorkelling and helmet diving equipment will be provided.
All of our helmet diving instructors are PADI certified. You will be required to sign a waiver and fill out a medical declaration on the day. A medical check will be conducted on the boat, failure to pass this medical will result in a part refund of the Seawalker experience.
You must be 12 years of age or older to be eligible for this experience. If you have a history of disorders such as asthma, heart conditions or diabetes you may be prohibited from diving unless you have a current Australian Diving Medical. A list of dive doctors can be found at www.spums.org.au.
Failed medicals for diving will not result in any refund. it is the requirement of the passenger to ensure that medical clearance for diving is possible.
