Discover the untouched beauty of Keppel Island with this day trip, inclusive of lunch, refreshments, and snorkel hire. Departing from Keppel Bay Marina, you'll enjoy a ferry ride to this stunning island where you can spend the day at your leisure. Snorkel directly off the beach and explore some of the most pristine fringing reefs that the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. You can also indulge in a range of other activities such as bushwalking, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relax at the beach. Included in this experience is lunch, available between 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, along with a choice of house beer, wine, or soft drink. After a day of exploration, return on your included ferry transfer at either 2 pm or 4 pm.

  • Disembarking the ferry is via a forward loading ramp, straight onto the beach. Great Keppel Island has no jetty or pontoon
  • Participants must be 18 years and over to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required
  • One piece of baggage per person (max 23kg)
  • All eskies must be 40L or less
  • Infants (under 5 years) travel for free but do not receive a meal
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

In extreme weather conditions the experience may be cancelled if safety is a concern. You will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled.

Please bring along enclosed shoes, a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Great Keppel Island Fantastic

We have a great day, the Island was amazing and lunch was great, however we paid for the snorkelling and couldn’t use it due to having to walk 25mins to the snorkelling area and if we wanted to catch a boat around it was going to be another $90.
