Your Great Barrier Reef day trip begins by boarding award-winning superyacht Evolution and being met by our professional and expert crew who will make sure you are comfortable and ready for an adventure-filled day. Relax onboard your 35-metre luxury superyacht for the day, as you cruise from Cairns to two exclusive outer Great Barrier Reef sites. Guests enjoy the longest amount of time on the reef in a day tour, with a total of five hours on the outer reef visiting stunning and diverse reefs such as Norman, Saxon, and Hastings. These locations are chosen for their exceptional coral density and prolific marine life.

Before you jump in, you will be given diving equipment for the dive, and snorkel equipment for when you change over to snorkelling. You will also receive in-depth briefings on safety procedures, site orientation and discuss techniques, to make sure you have the safest, most enjoyable experience of a lifetime. Upon arrival at your first reef location, either Saxon or Norman Reef, its time to snorkel and dive! Hop in the water with your provided equipment and discover the underwater world full of multicolored fish, coral, and other marine life. Instruction is provided for beginners, and your knowledgeable crew members are on hand to encourage and help you if needed. During your time on the reef, you will enjoy a BBQ lunch prepared onboard with fresh fish, steak, a variety of salads, and prawns.

At the second reef location, North Hastings Reef, you can snorkel or dive again. Then, sit back and relax with a glass of wine and a snack as you return back to Cairns to celebrate the end of your day on the Great Barrier Reef.

Restrictions

All certified divers and learn to dive students please note that a history of asthma, ear and heart conditions and some other medical conditions may exclude you from scuba diving

Guidelines

Adult is 17 years and over
Child is 12 to 16 years due to the minimum age for diving
Minimum age for introductory diving is 12 years old and certified diving is 10 years old
A medical form and liability release form must be completed on the day of travel by every passenger
Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent/guardian sign their forms
This experience serves alcohol, therefore all participants must be over 18 years of age and provide valid ID to be served alcohol
Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider
Transfers can be arranged for an additional cost directly with the experience provider

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.

Dress Code

Bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, as well as a change of clothes.

Amazing, must do!

Amazing staff, everyone was so friendly, engaging and had great energy and passion for their job and providing you with a great experience.Great food, very generous, seconds, thirds encouraged so plenty was cooked! Supportive team for diving, saw a stringray, day prior people saw a shark and turtles. Recommend. So many great add ons and photos whilst there!
