Your Great Barrier Reef day trip begins by boarding award-winning superyacht Evolution and being met by our professional and expert crew who will make sure you are comfortable and ready for an adventure-filled day. Relax onboard your 35-metre luxury superyacht for the day, as you cruise from Cairns to two exclusive outer Great Barrier Reef sites. Guests enjoy the longest amount of time on the reef in a day tour, with a total of five hours on the outer reef visiting stunning and diverse reefs such as Norman, Saxon and Hastings. These locations are chosen for their exceptional coral density and prolific marine life.

Upon arrival at your first reef location, either Saxon or Norman Reef, it is time to snorkel. Before you jump in, you will be given snorkel equipment, and foam noodles, life jackets, or wetsuits if you wish. You will also receive in-depth briefings on safety procedures, site orientation, and tuition on snorkelling techniques, to make sure you have the safest, most enjoyable snorkelling experience of a lifetime.

Snorkel guides are available all day long to guide you through the natural maze of beautiful coral and colourful fish, and show you the most incredible world under water, or take your time watching the exotic fish swim in and out of the beautiful unique coral creations.

During your time on the reef, you will enjoy a BBQ lunch prepared onboard with fresh fish, steak, a variety of salads, and prawns.

Your second snorkel will be at a different outer reef site, North Hastings Reef. Once you arrive at the new outer coral reef, jump into the crystal clear water to explore more of the vivid colours of the coral, marine life and tropical fish surrounding you.

On the return cruise back to Cairns, sit back and relax enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and a snack to celebrate the end of your day on the Great Barrier Reef.

This is a full day tour, with check-in at 7.15 - 7.45am, vessel departs 8.00am sharp and returns 4.30pm

Guidelines

Adult: 17+ years
Child: 4-16 years
Infants: 0-3 years FOC - please call after booking to add this to your booking direct with the tour operator
A medical form and liability release form must be completed on the day of travel by every passenger
Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent/guardian sign their forms
This experience serves alcohol, therefore all participants must be over 18 years of age and provide valid ID to be served alcohol
Divers must provide proof of certification
Minimum age for introductory diving is 12 years old and certified diving is 10 years old
Dive participants aged over 65 must provide a Queensland Dive Certificate. Please request further details at time of booking if required

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Fantastic day out great value with snorkelling gear morning tea lovely lunch and wine and cheese in the trip back all included in the trip Very friendly and helpful crew and very knowledgeable marine biologist on board Perfect trip for any age and swimming capabilities
