This 2 hour ride to St Andrews Beach commences at stables set on a beautiful 37 ha (80 acre) property. The ride to the ocean beach takes about 45 minutes and is mainly a walking ride with short periods of trotting (trotting is required). The sandy bush track then leads in to the Mornington Peninsula National Park up and over lofty sand dunes from where the views along the coastline are simply breath-taking. The horses stroll down the dunes and on to the expansive sands of St Andrews Beach which is one of Rye’s most spectacular ocean beaches.
