What's included?

60 minute horse ride and horse care program
Experienced instructor

Saddle up and learn how to ride a horse during this private horse riding lesson. Located just 45 minutes outside of Perth, you'll find charming stables situated on a beautiful rural property in Jarrahdale. After being assigned to a well trained horse or pony, suitable for your experience level and ability, you'll learn to groom and care for your horse. Next, it's time to mount your designated furry friend and enjoy a fun and informative private lesson where you will learn the basics, a particular skill, or to grow confidence to ride on your own. When you're feeling comfortable, you'll embark on a slow-paced guided horse ride through the paddocks to the dam and creek. Your instructor will be with you every step of the way and you'll even pass resident cows and sheep.

Guidelines

No previous horse riding experience is required
Adults must stay on the property at all times
Minimum age is 18 years
Due to the high risk nature of horse riding, riders are not permitted if pregnant.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

This experience goes ahead in rain, hail and shine. In the case of lightning, you will be rescheduled for a later date.

Dress Code

Participants must wear jeans or leggings and boots or a closed-in shoe with a heel and a smooth sole. Hair should be tied back and secure.

My daughter learnt so much by the end of the lesson and was confidently trotting The instructor was great so friendly and calm Beautiful property to visit also

We were very happy with the stables and staff. They made sure we had all the information we needed prior to our session and were very welcoming.

I’ve riden a few times in the past but had never been taught properly. I had such a great experience, I felt safe the entire time and pushed outside my comfort zone. Would definitely recommend. I’m going back in the next couple of weeks for a longer trail ride

The horses where amazing and calm which is good for someone like me who has had a bad run with horses. They all seemed tired and some where left outside with no food or water with all there tak on for at least 3 hours. I stuck around to talk to the owner about being a stable hand but couldn’t get a hold of her she didn’t interact with any of her customers. The workers on the other hand are amazing and do the best that they can do to make it a positive experience for not just the riders but the animals and make you feel relaxed. They let you move at your own pace and give good advice. You are amazing. I was a bit sad to see some of the horses kept in the stables and dirty water and little to no hay it was only at the end of the day that they were allowed out into the paddock to eat. On a good note the lesson was amazing and every question I had was answered straight away. They also let me stay a little bit and untak the horses and send them out which was a good experience for me. I would definitely go back again but definitely clean out their water buckets
