Combining the natural beauty of Byron Bay and a taste of its impressive local food scene, this is a horse riding tour not to be missed. At the stables you will be matched to a horse of your ability and confidence level before embarking on a scenic ride through the stunning sub-tropical forest. As you meander along the trial, you will be amazed at the diversity of native flora and fauna that inhabits the area. Ride down to the North Byron Hotel where you will be treated to a delicious lunch and beverage.

This experience is approximately 2-3 hours in duration
Ride time is approximately 90 minutes
Available most Saturdays
Recommended to book at least 14 days prior to commencement, as rides are subject to availability

Guidelines

Minimum age is 10 years old
Minimum height is 125cm
Maximum weight for beginners is 100kg, or 105kg for experienced riders
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult
Waiver must be completed prior to riding on the day
Full comprehensive personal travel insurance is recommended
Age, height, weight and experience level info for ALL riders must be provided upon booking
You are unable to bring cameras or phones along on the ride. Our guides take iPhone photos throughout the tour

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Tours will go ahead unless deemed unsafe by the staff. You will ride in light rain but if the wind is too strong or there is lightning, we might need to postpone your tour

Dress Code

Please wear long pants and enclosed shoes. It is recommended to bring sunscreen or a rain jacket depending on the weather forecast.

Booked this ride for my birthday, had a wonderful and fun time and the pub lunch was very yummy. The horses were so beautiful and the guide was so lovely. I hope to come back again and would recommend Zephyr horses to others looking for this type of experience.
