Feel the magic of the Jarrahdale bush and farmland as you explore the region by horseback. This relaxing trail ride will take you to great viewing points on Bald Hill with views of the Perth CBD, the ocean and beyond. The perfect marriage between adventure and beautiful scenery.

Escape the buzz of the city and get back to nature as you explore the beauty of Jarrahdale on horseback, located just 45 minutes outside of Perth. After being assigned to a horse suitable to your experience level and ability, you will mount the horse, have your stirrups adjusted and do a final safety check before beginning the adventure. Meander through beautiful Australian bush and farmland as you follow your instructor to viewing spots on Bald Hill. Expect to pass a variety of wildlife and farm animals along the way, before taking a break at the top to revel in sweeping views of Perth CBD, the ocean and surrounding farmland. After snapping a few photos and soaking it all in, you'll begin the scenic journey back to the stables. All trail rides are walking only.

  • This experience is 60 minutes in duration
  • Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Minimum age is 10 years old
  • Maximum weight limit is 110kg
  • No previous horse riding experience is required
  • A medium level of fitness is required
  • Due to the high risk nature of horse riding, riders are not permitted if pregnant.
  • All trail rides are walking only.
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Maximum of six riders.

This experience goes ahead in rain, hail and shine. In the case of lightning, you will be rescheduled for a later date.

Participants must wear jeans or leggings and boots or a closed-in shoe with a heel and a smooth sole. Hair should be tied back and secure. Phones are allowed on the ride. Singlets, shorts, dresses or heels are NOT safe to ride in, if wearing incorrect attire you will not be permitted to ride and your ride will be cancelled, with no refund applicable.

The horse ride was amazing. Had an amazing horse trainer and some very spunky horses that had their own amazing personalities. The views were stunning and we got lucky with such amazing weather. I would 100% do this again
