Discover the beautiful Kur Cow Farm nestled in the Kuranda rainforest on a relaxing horse riding tour. Then, up the horsepower and discover the cattle station on an ATV tour, getting up close to the some-150 cattle that keep the grass mown, before spending some time at the petting zoo.

Sitting snuggly in the hills of Myola and surrounded by tropical rainforest tablelands, Kur Cow Farm is a gorgeous property to explore by horseback. Hop on your four legged friend and be led on a stunning 30 minute trail ride, meandering through the verdant valleys and luscious rainforests sprinkled across the farm. See up to 150 cattle grazing on the grasslands and a host of other farm animals as you trot along. Then, swap four hooves for four wheels and enjoy a guided half hour ATV tour around the property. Your host will zip around the grasslands, taking you to where the herd of Angus, Wagyu and Brahman cattle keep the grass well trimmed. Wound down your stay with a visit to the petting zoo, where you can say hello to all the farm's residents at your leisure.

The horse riding and ATV tours are both 30 minutes in duration. There is no time limit at the petting zoo

Not suitable for pregnant women or those with back pain
This experience requires a minimum of 2 people to operate

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Spectators

Please note that any entrants (non-activity participants) are required to pay farm entry $15pp for adult, $10pp for child

Please wear long pants and suitable footwear.

Pick up at meeting point available at 9am from Cairns CBD hotels and return from Kur Cow at 2pm. Additional $80 per person (minimum 2pax). Self Drive session start at 9am, 11am and 1pm

A Cowboys Birthday Dream Come True!

Our son received a red balloon voucher for his 8th birthday and we decided to make his dreams of becoming a cowboy a reality! We found the Kur Cow Farm horse randomly ATV tour experience on the red balloon website and signed up for a day of affordable the whole family. Our son was thrilled witg the suprise but felt a little nervous as he had never ridden a horse or a quad bike before! The team at Kur Cow Farm were fantastic they took the time to ensure he was comfortable and before long he was grinning with excitement in the saddle and trotting around on a beautiful horse and covered in mud from his quad bike tour of the picturesque Farm. Booking was a breeze and our son said it was the best day of his life! Thanks Kur Cow Farm and thanks Red Balloon!
