★★★★★ ★★★★★ Lovely cause, but not what was expected Claudia 25 April 2026 The business is really lovely in supporting ex race horses who were destined for slaughter, however this is not the picturesque bus trail I expected. Firstly, I would only recommend this to people who have never been on a horse before, it is walking on a horse only, with someone guiding on foot. The walk is also by the highway/ on the road around Western Sydney suburbs. The picnic was on a hill just behind peoples houses, it was not off on a trail or anything. The picnic was nice enough but nothing special. Quite disappointing for someone who has been horse riding several times, however I appreciate this is to help fund rescue horses which I like, but wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has been horse riding before. Also, we were told we had plenty of time but were then told we had to hurry along as they had another appointment. Lots of critiques about how I rode the horse as well despite having rode plenty of times before. All round, quite a weird experience. Sarah was a delite, great fun, relaxed and clearly highly experienced. We were able to escape the bustle of our Sydney metropolitan lifestyle and soak up the tranquil atmosphere at WSEC. The picnic was first class and Sarah took beautiful photographs for us at no charge. We even got to bond with our allocated horses feeding and grooming them. The picnic was a delicious snack set up in beautiful park. It was nice to stop and relax while watching the horses graze on the grass while you eat.
