Experience the beauty of Hobart city from birds-eye view during this half hour scenic flight. Hold your breath as you soar above memorable highlights including the Derwent River, the majestic kunanyi/Mt Wellington, Hobart CBD and the surrounding harbour.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned local, there's no better way to take in the beauty of Hobart city than a breathtaking scenic flight! Lifting off from Cambridge, you will fly over the eastern shore and cross the serpentine Derwent River, which offers up spectacular views of the Tasman Bridge before tracking to MONA and the northern suburbs. Then, continue south over kunanyi/Mt Wellington, the postcard perfect backdrop of the city. Standing a sheer 1200 metres above ground, its rugged peaks are often dusted with snow during winter. The flight finishes over the CBD, harbour, Kingston and Clifton Beach before retuning back to base. Don't forget your camera as there are countless photo opportunities throughout!
