Treat someone to 40 minutes in the air above the Yarra Valley, seated in the open cockpit of a beautifully restored 1943 Tiger Moth. After a pre flight safety briefing, you will be fitted with a leather flying jacket, helmet, goggles and headset, then climb aboard this classic de Havilland biplane alongside an experienced commercial pilot.
From take off, the valley unfolds beneath you in a patchwork of vineyards, forests, winding rivers and mountain ranges, with nothing between you and the view but a windscreen and the rush of fresh air. Allow around 60 minutes from arrival to shut down, with roughly 40 minutes of that spent flying. This is aviation at its most romantic, slow enough to soak in every ridgeline and row of vines, yet thrilling enough to leave a lasting impression.
