Treat someone to a one hour scenic flight over the outback near Ayers Rock, soaring high above three of Australia's most iconic desert landmarks. Your adventure begins with complimentary transfers from your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation to the airport, where you will meet your knowledgeable pilot before climbing aboard. Once in the air, you will glide across the domes of Kata Tjuta, 36 ancient rock formations rising 546 metres above the desert plains, much of the area held sacred and out of sight from the ground.

From there you will drift towards Uluru, the vast red heart of the continent, glowing against the surrounding plains. Finish by flying high and low over Lake Amadeus, Australia's second largest salt lake, shimmering as it stretches 180km across the desert. With a window seat for everyone and your pilot sharing the stories of this ancient country, it is a gift that turns a single hour into a lasting memory of the outback.

Ayers Rock Scenic Flights reserve the right to cancel without refund any passengers more than 10% of their advised weights and which place the available aircraft beyond its maximum weight limits
Please ensure correct weights are given when booking and if you have any concerns, please call to discuss
Any cancellations by the pilots due to weather or maintenance will receive a full refund

Numbers on the Day

Two guests are required for a flight to go ahead. The aircraft can carry a maximum of 7 passengers, however his is weight-dependent.

Weather

In the event of weather that is too poor to complete the scenic flight, we will attempt to reschedule with a time that works for you. If this is not possible, a full refund will be sent.

Just a wonderful experience

The flight over Kata Tjuṯa & Uluṟu was amazing! The experience was seamless from pickup, the actual flight, to drop off. Tim, our pilot was excellent - very reassured & thorough, the commentary was on point with his flying pattern really considered with all sides getting amazing views and enough time and flybys to get a really good look and photo opportunities.
