A full day immersed in wildlife and habitat conservation side by side with your team and expert guides, departing from Brisbane, awaits you. Be part of meaningful action for habitat restoration to support Queensland’s native wildlife. Get involved in hands on conservation efforts in the great outdoors. After a comprehensive safety briefing, encounter and connect with wildlife such as the unique platypus, nocturnal sugar glider, gentle koalas and docile kangaroos. Plant, weed, and help control erosion in the area, with the opportunity to monitor indigenous species and their behaviour.

Throughout the day, engage in citizen science activities alongside conservation experts who have a strong understanding of the landscapes with stories and insights to share. Learn about the state’s declining biodiversity and how it puts species and ecosystems at risk. Team based tasks encourage collaboration and active volunteering with all the tools, equipment and materials you’ll need for the day provided.
