Whether you're new to the sport, or looking to brush up on your skills, this two hour private lesson is perfect for you. Coined as the surf capital of Australia, Torquay is the perfect place to learn how to surf. Catered to suit your ability, you will receive one-on-one instruction from a professional surfer, passionate to have you feeling comfortable and confident to get out into the water. You will learn the basics of the sport, from the correct paddling technique and how to catch a wave through to the correct stance. Your lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before heading out into the water to put theory into practice. After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for a more detailed demonstration on how to stand up. You will spend the rest of the lesson in the water working on your skills.
