Run by National Women's Director of Surfing Australia and champion surfer Brenda Miley, this surf school is the best of the best. Professional, fun and headed up by a team of highly trained surf coaches, this company is dedicated to getting you out surfing even if you've never stepped on a board before. With everything you need for the day including sunblock, all you need to bring is a positive attitude and your swimmers! All coaches have credentials ranging from Level One, Two and Master Coach with First Aid; Surf Bronze and Advanced Resuscitation certificates. Your group will include a maximum of 6 other people per Instructor, which allows for better teacher student interaction. Enjoy a fun day out at the beach, learn a new skill and make friends!

This experience is part of the Responsible range because they are ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

Important information

Session Length

This experience is 3 hours long (this time also includes return transfers)
Lessons are run everyday, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
Lesson times are tide dependant
Please arrive at our check in centre 20mins prior to your lesson start time

Restrictions

You must be able to swim and feel confident in the water

Guidelines

This surfing lesson is best suited to absolute beginners or those who want to brush up on their basic technique.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This lesson will be run with a maximum of 6 people per Instructor

Weather

Surf lessons take place in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, your lesson will be rescheduled.

Dress Code

Please bring swimmers and towel

Other Info

Lockers are available for your valuables, however, you are encouraged to bring as little as possible

Our instructor was very clear in his instructions so that we were on our boards making progress very quickly. There was lots of one-on-one instruction without intruding on the experience of the group. Everything was wonderful - friendly staff, decent equipment, and A-1 instruction!

This was the best surf lesson a beginner could ask for! The instructors were nice, patient, and clear. They provided great advice and worked with people who were having trouble standing on the board. The location was fantastic too!
