Drive a rear-wheel drive sports car for exciting driving action on a skidpan. You learn advanced car control while sliding our car on the slippery concrete training area. This is a very unique experience as there are very few skidpans in Australia so take the plunge and do something different!

• 4 hour skid pan driving experience in a Subaru BRZ Sportscar (shared usage of the cars)

A skid pan is an artificially slippery track which replicates driving on snow/ice or hitting a patch of oil. The driving speeds are less than 60km/h because the track is so slippery, the fun factor is extreme as you attempt to control your car with little or no traction. During the 4 hour session you will learn through experience how to recognise and control skids. This is a unique experience which not only enhances driving skills, but makes participants aware of their limitations and human reactions to adverse situations. During the session you will learn the importance of driving vision, steering & posture, skid & slide recognition (understeer, oversteer, spins) skid prevention techniques and skid control (reactive throttle control, steering correction, balance points).

Session Length

• This is a 4 hour experience. There are both morning and afternoon sessions available, 8.30am - 12.30pm or 12.30pm - 4.30pm.
• Sessions are either 8:30am - 12:30pm or 1:00pm - 5:00pm
