During this session you will learn the art and science behind blending the perfectly balanced cup of tea. Experiment with a variety of aromas, textures and flavours and many different types of teas. Your accredited Tea Sommelier will guide you through the basics and teach you about ingredients, flavour combinations as well as allowing you to blind taste a number of blend creations. Not only will you walk away with new found knowledge and skill, you will get to take home your unique blend in a beautiful glass amber jar, suitable to give away as a beautiful gift or as a keep-safe.

Ruan grew up drinking Rooibos tisanes from birth and his passion and love for tea has only grown with time. In 2014, he co-founded Impala + Peacock, an artisan tea blending business based in Melbourne, and since its inception has have been involved in brewing, blending and cupping teas daily, in the pursuit of amazing tea and tisane creations. Ruan also held the title of Australian Champion in categories of Tea Tasting and Tea Brewing and has represented Australia on the world stage for tea tasting.
