SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is an all-weather visitor attraction located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast and now has more creatures to see and things to do than ever before. At the much loved aquarium you can learn, explore and interact with thousands of marine life over 16 amazing and unique zones.

Take a fascinating journey from the coast to the ocean depths. Explore 16 themed zones and soak-up the amazing view from the sea bed in our 80 metre ocean tunnel. Get up close to over 10,000 creatures including Australia's largest collection of jellyfish. Meet our rare weedy sea dragons, our resident seals plus over 20 species of shark and rays.

Session Length

• Allow 2-3 hours to explore the Aquarium and enjoy live and interactive presentations
• Not open on Christmas Day, limited hours Anzac day - 1:30pm to 5:00pm
• Seal Photo sessions are directly after the seal presentations. (Only 2 photo sessions moving forward from 3)
• Seal encounters are directly after the first presentation (no change from current schedule)
• Seal Swims are @ 1pm (one hour earlier than current schedule, one group of swims moving forward)
• Start time for Seal Trainer for a Day remains the same but working on the schedule as that will change does not really affect anyone but Mammal Department though

Opening Hours:

• During school term - Open 7 days a week 9am to 3pm
• During school holidays - Open 7 days a week 8:30am to 4pm
• The reception area closes a half hour prior to end of day therefore last booking time slots are 1 hour prior
