Restrictions

No drones. A reasonable degree of fitness and mobility is required for boarding and moving around the boat, as well as accessing the toilet which is located down a small set of stairs. Pregnancy: Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation. Depth of water when at anchor varies from 2-5 metres. Anyone unable to swim independently (except in the case of young children who under full assistance from adults) will not be able to undertake swimming or snorkeling, but is welcome to participate in other activities provided they can do confidently and safely in the opinion of the crew. Limit of 8 per group booking.

Guidelines

• Children aged 2-3 are free with an accompanying adult. Please contact the provider as there may be a hire fee for children's life jackets
• This experience is not suitable if you have back problems
• Pregnant women over 30 weeks may need to provide a medical clearance
• Participants will need to complete a swimming waiver upon boarding
• All guests entering the water must be able to swim independently, unaided, except for young children who must always be under the full guidance of an adult.
• A swimming waiver is required to be signed when onboard, before entering the water.

Cancellation

• Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows will result in you forfeiting your experience
• Reschedules must be sent via email directly to the operator, contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please quote your booking reference and requested changes. Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and must be processed before the cut-off: 72 hours before departure, within the same season. Subsequent changes will incur a fee of $25pp.
• Participant name changes are permitted and must be sent via email directly to the operator at least 24 hours prior to departure. Operator contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please provide guests full name, mobile number and email address.
• Bookings for 5 or more - 7 days notice required

Numbers on the Day

Tour requires minimum numbers to proceed. This cruise runs with group sizes up to 24. On rare occasions this may be slightly higher.

Spectators

All passengers will require a ticket.

Weather

Public departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers. The provider monitors expected conditions well in advance of each tour and charter and will always try to give you as much notice as possible if they deem it too risky to proceed, however the final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. Unexpected weather changes can and do happen, albeit are rare.

Dress Code

Casual attire. It is advisable to bring a warmer clothing than you may need on shore, as the ocean is typically a few degrees cooler and may be more exposed to wind. Bare feet on deck. White sole shoes on the stern (barefoot preferred). Bring along your bathers and a towel.

Other Info

Snorkelers must be aged 8+ and be of at least a moderate swimming ability. Guests do need to be able to swim and explore the reef independently, without reliance on crew or other physical aids. Children must be under direct supervision of their carer or parent at all times, not left unattended. Children under 10 may be asked to wear a life jacket. Guests are welcome to bring additional drinks or snacks on tour. We just ask that guests refrain from drinking an alcohol until in-water activities are completed. We operate this tour with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 24. If minimum numbers are not reached we will contact you to discuss re-booking options. Use of the drag net is not guaranteed. It is subject to conditions on the day, as well as other guest interest. A swimming waiver must be signed by all participants (or their legal guardian) before entering the water.
