The earth consists of over 70% water - why not discover what lies beneath the sea? This four day PADI open water and reef dive course will have you learning the ropes and exploring two world-class dive locations, Fitzroy Island and the Great Barrier Reef. The first two days are focused on classroom theory and pool training in Cairns, building your ability and confidence in a shallow, controlled environment. Day three will have you applying your new found skills and exploring the spectacular underwater world at Fitzroy Island, visiting two reef sites for dives guided by their highly qualified team. The final day will see you diving in the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef, getting up close and personal with an abundance of marine life such as turtles, fish, corals, giant clams and sharks. Here you'll anchor at two dive sites that vary depending on the conditions on the day.
You can not dive if you have Asthma, Epilepsy, Diabetes, have or have had any major heart, lung or ear problems, are taking certain medications or if you are pregnant.
