Begin your island adventure at the Gold Coast International Airport where you will meet your pilot and prepare for take off. Take to the skies with a 30 minute scenic flight past the city skyline, then across the pristine waters of Moreton Bay Marine Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the local marine life on your journey to the island oasis that is North Stradbroke. After arriving at the island’s airport, you’ll meet your 4WD Eco Tour guide and head out on your 5 hour expedition on the island. Stop for some hot tea and homemade Aussie damper at either the airfield beside the local kangaroos, or at the picturesque Brown Lake.
Next, you’ll head out to explore the northern tracks and the isolated white sand beaches, learning about the fascinating history and aboriginal culture along the way. You may even spot some furry friends such as kangaroos or koalas, and keep an eye out for eagles flying above. You’ll settle into a perfect beachside spot for lunch where you'll be treated to an Aussie BBQ, relaxing in the sunshine and soaking up the sights and sounds of this natural paradise. After lunch, you’ll head up to Queensland’s most Easterly point, and have the opportunity to spot some humpback whales (late May early Nov), dolphins, turtles, manta rays, sharks and schools of large fish, from the Point Lookout. Stop by the gelato shop before boarding your return flight back to Gold Coast airport. This is the ultimate island adventure to share with your family that you will simply never forget!

The weather will be assessed 24 hours in advance to tour booking, should the forecast not be favourable to safely conduct flights to the island guests will be contacted immediately to reschedule tour free of charge or receive a full refund.
It is recommended to wear cool sun smart clothing, what you’d typically ware for a bush walk. Please bring along a spare jumper or jacket, hat and sunglasses, enclosed shoes (mandatory), swimmers and towel, backpack with sunscreen and water bottle. Refill points are available throughout.
