Experiment with a range of ingredients to give your recipe its own particular charm with this Mulled wine masterclass at Lot 20 in the heart of Perth. Work with a small group and receive instructions on cooking times and methods in order to produce the best possible wine from your chosen recipe.

What's included?

• Each group will be assigned and electric hotplate, cooking pot, wooden spoon and wine
• Choose from an assortment of sugars(castor, raw, demerara, brown, honey, muscovado), spices (aniseed, cardamom, cassia, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, juniper, mace, nutmeg), fruit (lemon, oranges, apples, pears) and bitters (angostura, orange, peach, peychauds, plum)
• There is a choice to drink the mulled wine, take it away, or have it become part of a Feuerzangenbowle at the end of the evening

Make mulled wine just like they did in ancient Mesopotamia with this masterclass hosted by the friendly small bar at the heart of Perth's cultural centre, Lot 20. A brilliant team-building activity and a surefire hit for birthdays and parties, this fully interactive experience offers you a range of ingredients to choose from so that you may personalise your recipe to your liking. You and your group will also be instructed on cooking times and methods in order to help you produce the best product you can with your chosen recipe. Mulled Wine or Glühwein is defined as wine that is heated, sweetened, spiced and drunk warm, and while you may want to do just that, consuming your elixir as soon as it is ready, you also have the option to take it home with you, ready to be reheated another day, or have it become part of a feuerzangenbowle a traditional German alcoholic drink prepared by setting a rum-soaked sugarloaf on fire and allowing it to drip into mulled wine) at the end of the night.
