Confront your fears and learn to freedive in the deep blue during this two day freediving course. Under expert tuition, you will learn the foundations to diving to a depth of 20m deep on a single breath, plus relaxation and mental techniques. Enjoy a pool session and two deep water dives.
Learn how to explore the ocean realm on one single breath during this two day freediving course in Sydney. Although the thought of holding your breath underwater can be daunting, this experience is a lot more calming than you might imagine. Under the tuition of some of Australia's best and most experienced freediving instructors, you will learn the foundations of freediving and gaining the skills to dive 20m deep on a single breath! You will also gain the skills to hold your breath for over two and a half minutes, as well as relaxation and mental techniques and rescue procedures. After an initial pool session, you will experience two freedives in deep water. The course will be catered to your wants, whether that be diving to great depths, learning to calm your mind, spearfishing, surfing, being comfortable at depth or just wanting to immerse yourself in the deep blue for long periods to watch the marine world go by.
Not suitable for women who are pregnant. If you have a serious medical condition please contact the provider prior to booking to discuss whether this experience is suitable for you.
Maximum ratio of four participants per freediving instructor.
If the provider deems weather conditions or water conditions are unsafe for the experience to go ahead, they reserve the right to postpone and reschedule the experience.
Participants will be required to bring their own wetsuit (if you do not own a wetsuit the provider can recommend wetsuits for hire in locations close to you or recommendations to buy your own).
