Settle in for an unforgettable and mesmerising cruise sighting the spectacular Great White Shark in their natural habitat. The Neptune Islands, situated 40 nautical miles south of Port Lincoln, is a feeding hotspot for these incredible creatures. You will depart from Port Lincoln early in the morning for a full day out on the water. On the way, admire the spectacular scenery that surrounds as you cruise through the Thorny Passage and expect to see sightings of dolphins and sea birds frolicking.

Once you've entered the residency of Great White Sharks, head down to the aqua sub, an underwater glass viewing area that allows you to get up close to these marine animals. The crew use audio sound vibrations to attract the sharks to the boat rather than berley and bait and funnily enough, the sharks have grown a liking to tunes from ACDC. Immerse yourself in the big blue sea and marvel at the kaleidoscopic underwater world before a Great White makes an appearance. Catch your breath as you come eye to eye. For an additional fee payable on the day, choose to get wet and go shark cage diving.

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.

White Shark sightings can never be guaranteed as they are wild animals, however most of the tours result in shark sightings. Certainly there are better times than others to have the best chance at a good sighting of White Sharks.

The ‘best’ time of year to see sharks is not guaranteed, as they are nomadic and somewhat unpredictable. Historically however, the best time of year for viewing white sharks is from April through to June and November through to the end of January. Once a shark tour has been booked all customers have the right and responsibility to call the experience provider prior to their tour for up to date sharks sightings. In the event of sustained periods of no sightings, tours can be deferred to a later date at no extra charge.

    Numbers on the Day

The tour runs with a minimum numbers of nine and a maximum of 27 participants. There will be 2-3 guides on each tour.

The tour will not run if the weather is unsuitable. If the experience provider does have to cancel the tour due to poor weather conditions, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.

    Dress Code

    Warm clothes are recommended.

    Other Info
