Head to Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters for a unique and immersive animal adventure like no other! You will step into the shallow waters of the tropical lagoon and encounter the friendly resident sharks and rays who reach a new level of excitement when you're close by. Get to know their gentle and affectionate nature as you reach down to feed and pet them. Then, make your way over to the private lagoon where majestic zebra sharks reside. Excite at the opportunity to get know these endangered sharks in an intimate setting while your guide shares a wealth of knowledge about their nature, habits and personalities.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times. An adult ticket must also be purchased for the supervising adult.
Suitable for all ages, however this is an intimate, gentle encounter with the zebra sharks and it may not be appropriate for very young children who are unable to sit still for extended periods of time.
Spectators may watch the encounter with a valid entry ticket, but they must not enter the water during the encounter.
Operates in all weather conditions. The outdoor lagoon will only be evacuated during electrical storms.
Shoes must be worn except when inside the water - socks provided. Swimwear is not needed for the shallows encounter, shorts or skirts (or pants you can roll up) are recommended. Wetsuit provided for private zebra shark encounter.
