On the Adelaide Hills, Vines and Wines Mountain Bike full day tour you will explore the hills and vineyards of South Australia by bike. Transport is provided from Adelaide to the McLaren Vale wine region where you will be provided with top quality bikes to cruise through Adelaide wine country.
Start the day by exploring the beautiful Kuipto forest, before riding along sections of the Kidman trail and then enjoying the descent down Willunga Hill towards McLaren Vale. Then ride through the gorgeous vineyards, and stop at a number of local wineries to sample their fare and perhaps purchase some wine to take home with you!
Next, stop for a lunch of local produce, and then more exploring in the afternoon. Finally, you will be picked up and transported back to Adelaide. The riding is fairly leisurely and is suitable for anyone that can ride a bike on fire tracks and country roads. Vehicle support is included and any wines purchased can be picked up for you by our driver.
Tours are run generally every Friday and Sunday
The day starts at 9.00am and returns to Adelaide at approx 5.00pm
Please note: This experience runs on limited days during winter season

In the event of wet, stormy weather or extreme heat the experience may be cancelled. You will be contacted by the experience provider and rescheduled if it is deemed unsafe to proceed with tour.
Comfortable and appropriate clothing for a day on the bike.
Bring you camera, and money if you wish to purchase wine. A backpack, a bottle of water and a waterproof jacket are also recommended.
The Mclaren Vale wine region, 1 hour drive from Adelaide, with bus transfers included.
