Experience the unforgettable thrill of driving an F1-Style, open-wheel Formula Ford Race Car. Built for speed it was capable of achieving lap times similar to that of a V8 Supercar which is significantly faster than a Porsche 911.
Driving a single-seater Formula Ford racing car is unlike anything else. These are real race cars! You'll be strapped into the open cockpit by a six-point racing harness with the quick release steering wheel in front of you. You'll have the gear stick on your right connected to a 4-speed close ratio, purpose-built racing gearbox. Seated only a couple of inches off the ground you can feel every bump and vibration as your super-responsive car reacts to every tiny adjustment you make. You will drive 5 blistering laps of Sydney Motorsport Park, Corporate Hill Section of the South Circuit. This consists of 2 additional orientation laps in a road car and then 5 laps on your own.
If you'd prefer not to be behind the wheel, passenger experiences are also available.
This experience is an outdoor event and will go ahead in wet/damp conditions. If the supplier deems the track unsafe, due to extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to a convenient later date. We do not offer refunds. In damp or wet conditions, you must still arrive for your allocated session/event unless advised otherwise by the supplier.
If you have your own race gear, feel free to bring them along. Otherwise we supply all safety gear, helmets, boots and suits. Bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and socks.
When you are driving you are responsible for any damage done to the race vehicle. This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider.
