Our Marine Discovery and Interpretive Centre showcases an expanded range of themed fish and coral aquariums, 360-degree Digital Dolphinarium, VR & 3D experiences, as well as an interpretation of the Koombana Bay environment and its history – geological, indigenous, marine and contemporary.

The Dolphin Discovery Centre is an essential stop for any visitor to the South West, only 2hrs south of Perth on the way to Busselton and Margaret River. The Marine Discovery & Interpretive Centre tells the story of the local bottlenose dolphins their marine friends and environment. From freshwater river to offshore reef it features a huge variety of marine plants and animals. Entry is valid from 9am-3pm (we recommend a min of 90mins) and features 13 tanks and aquaria, 360-degree Digital Dolphinarium, 2D Theatre, many immersive experiences and interactive displays, daily feeding programs, activity centres, VR & 3D, Baby Sea Turtle Rescue Station and the clever octopus display. The highlight of the visit is no doubt the chance to see wild dolphins in the Beach Interaction Zone, this is more frequent in the warmer months during the morning and is not a guarantee as they are wild dolphins.

NOTE: During the cooler months you do not see the dolphins consistently in the Beach Interaction Zone. Remember they are wild dolphins and come and go as they please. Most common visit times are in the mornings between 8am and 12 noon.
