This full-day defensive driving course at Baskerville Raceway will arm you with the vital knowledge of dealing with everyday driving situations and better understand how your vehicle operates and responds. During the program get to see how speed affects braking distance, and learn how to dodge potential road hazards like an expert. Over the day, you will complete both theoretical and practical tests. You will cover task planning driver attitude and behaviour vehicle systems, identifying and managing risks vehicle checks and safety low-risk driving techniques, what causes car crashes and setting up the cabin (seats and steering wheel), emergency braking in a straight line at different speeds and dodging collisions at various speeds.
This is a full-day session from 9 am through to 4 pm.
Not permitted
In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern.
Please dress with enclosed shoes with weather considerations as you may spend some time out of your vehicle.
