Receive a heart-warming cuddle from one of Australia's most iconic animals, the koala, during a fun-filled day at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Go home having made a number of new furry friends and with a professional photo of you and the koala as a memento to cherish forever.
Immerse yourself in a wonderland of native and foreign animals at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for a day! As the highlight of your visit, you will have the chance to personally meet the iconic koala and enjoy a heart-warming cuddle with the furry creature. Get your professional photo snapped so that you can take it home and get that warm fuzzy feeling inside every time you look at it. Throughout the day, you will also make many new animal friends from furry to scaly and big to small. Feed kangaroos and wild lorikeets, watch the bird show featuring the wedged tail eagle, visit the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Hospital and enjoy an Aboriginal didgeridoo and dance performance. There's plenty to do for the entire family!
As a guide, the recommended height of a guest to be able to safely and securely hold a koala is 140cm, however it is at the Koala handlers discretion on the day to ensure that a koala can be held safely and securely unassisted. If a Koala handler determines a guest requires assistance, one of three options will be offered - 1 - Tree photo. 2 - Cuddle shot with handler. 3 - Professioanl group/family photo with suitable person holding the koala
