Explore the fascinating pearl farm on the Hawkesbury River, enjoy a one way 20 minute scenic flight from Sydney and indulge in a grazing lunch with wine in this four hour combo experience for two. Board the seaplane from the dock in eastern Sydney and start off your adventure with a breathtaking view across the Harbour Bridge, the Opera house and the vast city skylines while flying up North towards the National Park. Right in the middle, on the Hawkesbury River you will land on the water surface and board a small boat. The informative tour takes you around the Broken Bay Pearl farm where you will learn about the early days of pearl farming and their first attempts to grow the perfect pearls.
Cruise towards the oyster lease and watch them bring up the cages and open them up right in front of you. Learn about how the techniques and farming successes changed over the years and what it really takes to harvest the oysters. Try the oysters straight from the water and relax during a grazing lunch paired with wine.
