That’s 10% of the Australian population! When we started ‘doing’ experiences in 2001, Facebook didn’t exist; the iPod had just been invented; John Howard was Prime Minister; and Destiny's Child were popular (yikes!). We’ve been at this business of experiences for quite a while, so put your trust in us to show you a good time.
The RedBalloon Price Guarantee does not apply to experiences involving accommodation or Experience Providers' own conditional sales.

Make friends with a herd of four-legged cuties during this interactive and hands-on alpaca experience in the Central West of NSW. Learn more about them and their life on the farm, hand feed and pat an alpaca or two and fall in love with their cheeky personalities. Don't forget to take a selfie!
Located in rural Tomingley not far from Dubbo, this working alpaca farm offers unique and interactive experiences with adorable four-legged alpacas. Receive a warm welcome upon arrival before learning about life on the farm, how it all started and why the herd has grown so large. You'll then hear some fascinating alpaca facts before heading into the feeding yards for some hands-on fun. Meet the fuzzy creatures as they come up to you for treats, with many of them eating straight out of your hand as well as your treat bowl. Get a pat in, take some happy selfies and choose your favourite animal after getting to know their personalities. After your meet and greet, feel free to stay longer and look through the gallery and farm shop.
Children must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.
An alpaca Meet & Greet Experience will run for 1 person at the standard times. For groups of 4 or more we can run the experience for you at a time to suit your itinerary.
Spectators are welcome. Spectators are able to listen to the information and ask questions, see the alpacas from outside of the feeding yards and take photos of you. There are plenty of tables and chairs for spectators to find a cosy spot, maybe have a cuppa and enjoy the atmosphere after looking through the gallery and farm shop.
This experience will operate in light drizzle. In the event of a significant weather event, your experience may be postponed.
Closed-in shoes, warm clothing in the cooler months and a hat.
Although most of our alpacas are quiet and are used to interacting with people and being handled please remember that they are still animals and they are NOT pets. Loud noises, sudden movements and overcrowding can make them stressed and unpredictable. Please follow the instruction of our team without question. Your children are your responsibility. Please make sure they understand the rules and are in your care and under your supervision at all times, especially near the animals.
This experience takes place in Tomingley in the Central West of NSW.
