This performance driving experience is an opportunity to bring your own car to the skidpan.

The 4 hour session starts with a half hour theory session on performance driving techniques, including vision, seating posture, cornering and braking techniques, smooth driving and weight transfer. After the initial briefing, you'll get the opportunity to put all the theory into practice on a 'Motor Khana' style course.

With you on the day will be two fully experienced instructors to provide performance tips and to answer any questions. Many participants, from new to 'seasoned' competitors have improved their driving skills and lap times.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This experience is available one Sunday per month.
  • The morning course runs from 8.30am-12.30pm. The afternoon session runs from 12.30pm-4.30pm. You will need to book at least one month prior to secure your place.

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 16 people per session.


This experience is run in all weather conditions - rain, hail or shine!

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable and casual clothes and enclosed flat soled shoes, such as sneakers. Sunglasses are recommended.

Other Info

A strong emphasis throughout the event is to show people valuable new safety skills that they can apply to everyday driving. This includes correct driving techniques, oversteer/ understeer, weight transfer, vision, cornering, seating posture, airbags and ABS braking.

  • You must hold a current drivers licence and you will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in the activity.
  • You must have a roadworthy car. Please make sure that tyres are 4-5 psi higher than normal.
  • All drivers must supply an approved crash helmet.


Participants must give a minimum of 2 working days notice of any changes to the booking or risk forfeiting their voucher.
