Skydive the beach in Newcastle for an experience you’ll never forget. You'll start off with the briefing, then take off and land in the same place - a private airfield just south of Newcastle.
Experience sensational coastal views of Blacksmith Beach and stunning Lake Macquarie when you tandem skydive over Newcastle and freefall for 60 heart-stopping seconds from up to 15,000 feet.
Your experienced tandem instructor will do all the work, you just need to smile, scream and wave at the camera. Video and photo packages are available for purchase at the drop zone on the day of your skydive.
Please note that Public Holidays that fall on weekdays may incur an additional surcharge to be paid direct to the provider on the day.
Session Length
- Please allow half a day for this experience
- Only available on weekends
- This experience is not available on Christmas Day
Guidelines
- A general level of fitness is advised, not suitable during pregnancy or for participants with heart conditions or epilepsy
- No alcohol or recreational drugs are to be consumed at least eight hours before your skydive
- You must be aged 12 years or more
- Maximum weight of 110kg - $50 surcharge if you are over 95kg and $75 if you are over 105kg, payable directly to the experience provider. You will also need to complete a tandem master assessment
Please note: If you are under 18 years, you must have a legal guardian attend to sign paperwork.
Cancellation
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
Resheduling
- Over 48 hours prior to the experience date: No charge
- Within 48 hours of the experience date: An amount of $110 is charged for any changes to the booking, or cancellations
- No Shows and Late Arrivals: No refund will be issued without sufficient evidence as to why one should be, provided directly to the supplier
Numbers on the Day
Your jump will be one-on-one with a professional skydive instructor.
Weather
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.
