The venue’s rich history as part of Sydney’s former harbour defence network adds a unique character, and the beautifully restored sandstone setting is both elegant and welcoming. The views across the harbour toward Nielsen Park, Rose Bay and Shark Island are exceptional and create a memorable backdrop. Service was attentive, professional and well paced throughout. Ches 23 March 2026 Gifted this experience to my Sister-in-law last year but she then took me with her recently - it was such a great experience. I had no idea how amazing this spot is. Grew up and live in Sydney yet have never been to Gunners Barracks before! The food was incredible (we ended up having to request a takeaway box it was so filling!), tea menu impressive and service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
